Workstamp Privacy Policy
Workstamp ("the App") respects your privacy and complies with applicable laws. This policy explains what information the App processes and how.

2. Information We Do Not Collect
The App has no sign-up or login, and does not collect personally identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
3. Information the App Stores and Transmits
Data you enter — attendance records, work schedules, goals — is stored only in local storage on your device and is never transmitted to the operator's servers. Deleting the App also deletes this data.
If you register a commute route yourself and use the transit arrival feature, the information listed in Section 3-1 is sent to our servers so that arrival information can be returned. Even then, the attendance records, work schedules, and goals themselves are not transmitted.
3-1. Information Sent to Our Servers When You Use Transit Arrivals
This feature works only if you register a commute route yourself (subway stations or bus stops). When you do, the following information is sent to the lookup server we operate so that arrival information can be returned.

- Attendance records and work settings are not included in these requests.
- Because the App has no accounts, this information is not combined with personally identifying information.
- If you do not use transit arrivals (no route registered), none of this is transmitted.
4. Information Collected Automatically via Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Google services, which collect and process certain information.

The App does not track users across apps. It does not request iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking purposes. Ads shown in the App are non-personalized.
Advertising identifiers and device information may be processed by a third party (Google/AdMob) for the purpose of serving ads.
Data handling by these services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's partner policies.
5. Advertising & Consent (EEA, UK, etc.)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and other applicable regions, a consent dialog is shown on first launch via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choices anytime under Settings → Manage privacy options in the App.
6. Your Choices (Opt-Out)
- Turn off the Settings → Usage data collection toggle to stop usage-analytics and crash-diagnostics collection.
- Use Settings → Manage privacy options to revisit advertising consent.
- Reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Data Security
Data stored on your device is protected by the operating system's app sandbox. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes, and will post updates on this page.
